Providence is calling a part time 8-hour, day shift Registered Nurse to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, CA.
In this position you will:
Apply the nursing process in direct patient care, coordination of the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings
Demonstrate extensiveknowledge of chemotherapy administration, side effects, infusion therapy, pain management
Administer port-a-caths and all venous access devices
Required qualifications for this position include:
Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
2 years nursing experience
1 year Oncology experience
ONS Chemotherapy Certification
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Oncology Nurse (OCN) certification
2 years ambulatory/hospital experience
