The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is a research university and academic health center that discovers, teaches and applies knowledge for the intellectual, cultural, social and economic benefit of Birmingham, the state and beyond. The RN in this role will coordinate and organize clinical patient care for a specified Oncology unit, following the patient from referral through treatment, discharge and follow-up, providing patient and family education and maintaining records and documentation.
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and three years of related experience; work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
Alabama RN licensure or eligibility
Experience in coordinating research activities involved in conducting Oncology clinical trials to include management of data and patient care studies
Knowledge of regulatory/compliance and financial analysis as it pertains to clinical research
