Job Title: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner
Location: Autism Development Institute, ADMI, Lewisburg, Pa
Schedule: Days, M-F
Work Type: Full Time, 1.0 FTE
Performs, in collaboration with the physician, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks that allow the physician to extend their service to children with developmental or behavioral disorders. Assists in gathering the data necessary in implementing the therapeutic plan for the physician. Participates in Autism & Developmental Medicine (ADMI) research studies in collaboration with the Principal Investigator.
Acts as a patient advocate in the medical care system serving as confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients, family members, other health care team members and the physicians.
Reports clinically to the ADMI Medical Director. Reports to the ADMI Director for research activities.

Demonstrates ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrates deep concern for the health and well-being of others, particularly pediatric patients.
Demonstrates ability to deal with patients and families in such a way as to instill confidence and to facilitate ongoing communication between the physician and family members.
Demonstrated computer skills; especially accurate and complete entries into electronic medical record
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Certificate of completion from an approved program for Nurse Practitioners and completion of Master’s degree required. Licensure must cover the ability to care for both the pediatric and adult populations.
Must be eligible for licensure as an NP in the state of PA.
Pediatric experience required.
EPIC experience preferred.
