About Us

Blue Sky Vision is a partnership among ophthalmologists, optometrists, and Sterling Partners, a professional investor that specializes in healthcare services.

Created in early 2017, Blue Sky Vision is dedicated to providing world-class support to leading providers of eye care services. Members of the Blue Sky Vision family of practices now include Grand Rapids Ophthalmology, Surgical Care Center of Michigan, Lakeshore Eye, Walker Surgical Center, Shoreline Vision, Shoreline Vision ASC, Michigan Optical, Vitreo-Retinal Associates, Sussex Vision Center, Optometrists of Lansing, EyeCare Associates, and VisionCare Associates. In total, Blue Sky Vision is now proud to support the practices of more than 60 doctors in Central and West Michigan, and we continue to grow.

We believe strongly that the core of any great medical practice is well-trained, highly-competent, caring, and compassionate doctors. Therefore, we consider ourselves to be doctor-centric: we start with great doctors, then we add capable, well-trained support staff, and finally we provide effective, efficient facilities, tools, and technology. Together with strong marketing programs and unmatched financial resources, we have the recipe for successful practices that provide both excellent patient care and perform well financially.
